Our Mission
Since 1991, Light & Love Productions has been committed to producing entertainment and educational venues for women, youth, aspiring artists, writers, entertainers, motivational speakers and mentors through in-house productions and joint ventures with other organizations.
As a community oriented service company, we are dedicated to opening doors of opportunity and personal growth to enhance the quality of life for the communities we serve.
The Company
Located in Jamaica, New York, and created specifically to produce unique and innovative entertainment and educational venues including showcases, stage plays, film, stage plays, workshops and motivational seminars.
Beverly D. Danields - Founder & Program Director - Trained in theatre and drama, alumni The Harlem School of the Arts, Founded Light & Love Productions in December of 1993 and creator of the Power Tools program.
Vincent J. Cheatham - Program Director - Graduate of Florida State University - BFA in Theatre, AS in Mass Communications from Enterprise State Jr. College where he wrote and directed a short film titled Raped?, the film was used to educate college and high school students about date rape. Certified Teaching Artist, Certified Personal Trainer.
